Renting Guide

Securing your room

Contact us via facebook or email to discuss your requirements and arrange a viewing. We will then offer you a room tailored to your individual preferences.

Tenancy Agreements

All our agreements are Short-hold Tenancy Agreements.

Guarantors

We request a UK based guarantor for you tenancy (usually your parent or guardian). Overseas students who are unable to provide a UK guarantor are regretfully unable to pay their rent in termly instalments.

Deposit

Your deposit is payable when you sign your tenancy agreement.

This is your deposit against damage.

When you leave, deductions will be made for any damage to the property. The balance will be returned to you within 21 days of the end of your tenancy.

Rent Payment

Your rent is payable by the academic term.

We request payment by bank transfer.

Terminating a Tenancy Agreement

As your tenancy agreement is a binding agreement, you must be comfortable with it before you sign it.

Your tenancy cannot be terminated. Should you change your mind or wish to leave early, your rent remains payable unless you find a suitable successor for your room. We will endeavour to assist you with this.

TV Licence and Insurance

You are responsible for your own TV licence and personal contents insurance.

Safety and Security

The property is strictly non-smoking throughout.

Fire alarms and emergency lights are fitted throughout the property.

Electrical safety certificates are available for your inspection, on request.

Equipment

You will need to provide your own bedding and kitchen equipment.
